# Welcome to Squid ID

> Squid ID identifies the people visiting your website and the companies they work for, so your team can route, enrich, and follow up on warm traffic.

Squid ID turns the anonymous visitors on your site into real people, with name, company, and role. Install one snippet and you can see who is on your site, filter to the accounts that match your [ICP](/finding-visitors/icp-filtering), and route them to Slack and your CRM.
