Before you start
- Access to add a script tag to your site, or to your tag manager (Google Tag Manager, Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, and similar all work).
- A Squid ID account.
Steps
Create a website
In the dashboard, your first website is created from the domain you entered during signup. To add another, use the website switcher. See Manage websites.
Install the snippet
Copy your install snippet and paste it into the
<head> of your site, or add it through your platform. Per-platform steps are in Install the snippet.Verify it's live
The dashboard shows a connection status. When the first page view arrives, it flips to Live and pinging. See Verify your install.
See a visitor
As real traffic comes in, identified visitors and companies appear in the dashboard. See Identified visitors.
Route to Slack (optional)
Connect Slack so new matches land in a channel and your team doesn’t have to watch the dashboard. See Route to Slack.
Not every visitor resolves to a person, and match volume depends on your traffic. See Match rate for what to expect.
