Smartlead is a cold-email platform for running outbound campaigns at scale. Squid ID identifies the person on your site and adds them straight to a Smartlead campaign through Smartlead’s API, so they enter the sequence automatically. This is a direct integration, so you don’t need Zapier in the middle.

If you’re coming from RB2B

RB2B can sync to Smartlead, but it adds everyone and leaves the targeting to you. Squid ID adds only the visitors that match your ICP, with the work email as the lead and Squid ID+ data attached.

Why this matters. A campaign is only as good as who’s in it. Squid ID enrolls just the on-profile visitors and hands Smartlead the work email plus, where unlocked, a mobile number and personal email to personalize with.

Connect Smartlead

1

Get your API key

In Smartlead, go to Settings → Activate API and copy your API key.
2

Paste it

In Squid ID, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Smartlead card. Paste the key; Squid ID verifies it before saving.
3

Pick a campaign

Choose the Smartlead campaign visitors should enter, then set routing, requirements, and frequency, and Save.

What’s sent

The work email as the lead, plus first_name, last_name, company_name, website, location, phone_number, and linkedin_profile. Context and Squid ID+ data ride in custom_fields: squid_icp, squid_is_icp_match, squid_job_title, squid_landing_page, and, when unlocked, squid_personal_email, squid_mobile_phone, and squid_home_address.
The work email is the lead address. The personal email (when ID+ is unlocked) is a custom field, not the send-to address, so cold outreach goes to the work inbox by default.

Pause or disconnect

  • Pause: Use the toggle on the Smartlead card to stop sending without losing the key or settings.
  • Disconnect: Open the connector and click Disconnect.
