The email digest is a scheduled summary of the visitors Squid ID identified, sent to the people you add. Each recipient picks their own cadence: daily, weekly, or monthly. The digest is for recap and review. For visitors to act on in real time, use Slack or Teams.

If you’re coming from RB2B

If you currently use RB2B, here’s how the digest compares:
RB2BSquid ID
CadenceDaily recapDaily, weekly, or monthly
Per-recipient cadenceOne scheduleEach recipient sets their own
RecipientsAccount-level listAdd any number of addresses

Why this matters. A single recap schedule sends everyone the same email at the same interval. Per-recipient cadence lets a rep get a daily list while a manager gets a weekly or monthly roll-up from the same source.

Before you start

You’ll move faster if these are already in place.
  • You’re an Owner or Admin on the website. Viewers can see recipients but can’t change them.
  • The snippet is installed and verified, so there are visitors to summarize.

Add recipients

1

Open Email notifications

Go to Settings → Email notifications.
2

Add an address

In the Email digest section, type an address and click Add. It appears as a row in the recipient table.
3

Choose each recipient's cadence

Each row has Daily, Weekly, and Monthly toggles. Turn on one or more for each recipient. A new recipient starts on Daily.
4

Let it save

Changes save automatically. The status line at the bottom shows Saved once the change is stored.
To stop sending to someone, remove their row or turn off all three cadences. The digest is active for an address only while at least one cadence is on.
